I'd better Start Packing
I'm supposed to be up at 7am and out on the road. A drive to Liverpool to pick everyone up and then a 7 hour drive to Fort William . . .

Web Building
I'm really getting to grips with Rapidweaver now. I'm so glad I made the move over to apple from the PC. Everything is so much easier to do and it just works.
I decided to use my mikeys.org domain as a sort of junction; from where, you can visit any of my sites. It seemed like the sensible thing to do. It's the easiest address to remember too. So I don't have to pass on a load of gobbledegook in the form of "Aitch tee tee pee colon slash slash dot me uk or dot biz" Or whatever. Just plain mikeys dot org, simple.
I'm possibly one for my mate Jonny, to advertise his flats for rent in Aberdeen. It's keeping me busy.
Next on the agenda is a proper revamp of my mikeys-art.biz site. It would be good idf it actually did contain some art, wouldn't it? Then I'll finally get round to rebuilding the teamlard site in Rapidweaver. Currently I'm using iWeb which makes massive bandwidth hungry sites that take an age to load. So hopefully with the combination of the move to Rapidweaver and a possible move of server, teamlard.co.uk will be a better site to work on and view.

Holiday Countdown . . .
I'm having a proper holiday this year.
I haven't been away, for more than a long weekend, for over 5 years. This Saturday I'll be traveling up the M6 to Scotland, to stay in a log cabin for a week. Hopefully, the shite weather, which has caused flood and famine* across the UK, will take a turn for the better.
It's the first family holiday since about 1972. My dad, my sister, her two kids and me. I'm really looking forward to it.
If there is any internet access: I'll try and update this blog; adding photo's and all the usual stuff a proper blogger does.
*OK there hasn't been any famine . . . Yet!

mikeys.me.uk, here at last
After owning this domain for about 2 years, I've finally gotten(?!) around to putting something here.
At the moment it's just hosting a lonely blog page, but never fear I'll add a photo's page soon and no doubt a links page and other useless stuff, which i will neglect in double quick time.
