Google Maps - Google Earth

Links:- Google Earth | Google Maps

Ten years ago, you wouldn't believe that you could access satellite photos of any part of the world from any computer or mobile phone connected to the internet. But after all it IS the 21st century. And you can.
Here's an aerial view of my house. And that's my mini on the drive.

How Cool is . . .

Satellite Navigation?
I got myself a Tomtom One XL for virtually half price with free speed camera updates. Now I've got Ozzy Osbourne telling me how to get to my "fucking" destination. It's only a few years since these things appeared and already the price has dropped so low, that even I can afford one. All you do is: enter a postcode as your destination, and it will guide you there via the fastest route possible. The "Safety Camera" feature is cool. It alerts you when you approach a speed camera. It tell's you how fast you are traveling, what the current speed limit is, where the nearest petrol station / cash-point / car-park / cinema / theatre / picnic area / camp-site / railway station / beach / hotel / hospital. . . etc. . . etc is/are. It's just great!

I always sneered at people who had thier sat-nav's on whilst they were driving along a perfectly straight stretch of motorway. I now realise they are so much more than just a voice, telling you where to go.

I now put it in the van just to drive to ASDA. A journey of approximately ONE MILE.

Buy one NOW!!!! you won't regret it

EDIT (23-09-07): Since I posted this, Amazon have put up the price ot £249.00. A hundred quid more than I paid. Ah Well. Looks like you missed a bargain.
